Description

 

1. Seamless metal calcium core wire is a kind of seamless solid metal calcium core wire used in steelmaking deoxygenation. It is made of three parts outer steel tube, middle coating,the inner core which is solid metallic calcium (pure calcium) line.
2.The utility model provides seamless solid metal calcium packet, core wires can reduce the vapor pressure of calcium metal and gasification rate, increase the seamless solid metal conductor inserted depth of steel liquid calcium package and reduce the boiling liquid steel, reduce the time of the metal calcium’s absorbtion by the molten steel.

3.Calcium not only overcomes the existing joint solid package conductor inserted steel liquid boiling phenomenon, but also reduce the noneffective phenomenon of feeding cored wire because of calcium powder package conductor hollow or core powder uneven weight . Avoid the harmful elements (S, P, C, Si)in calcium powder wire, thus greatly improve the yield and stability of metal calcium.It has the advantages of high tensile strength, good toughness and not easily to break.The core wire is compact and tightly wrapped, which can be stored for a longer time and can guarantee the use effect. 

1. The yield of calcium in the calcium treatment process is closely related to the wire feeding speed, diameter and height ratio of ladle, wire feeding process, etc.The feeding speed is the key factor to determine whether the feeding process can achieve the desired effect.

The optimum feed line speed is only a function of the depth of the molten steel.

2. The optimal feed line speed has little relation with the temperature of the molten steel treated.

3. The temperature of molten steel treatment is directly related to the yield of calcium

As can be seen from the vapor pressure chart of calcium at different temperatures, the higher the temperature of the molten steel treated, the higher the vapor pressure of calcium, the faster the escape velocity of calcium from the molten steel, the shorter the residence time of calcium in the molten steel, and the lower the efficiency and recovery rate of calcium treatment.

4. The longer the effective working time of the wire feeder at the optimal speed, the higher the calcium yield

5. The performance of wire feeding machine, the processing quality of core wire and the incidence Angle and height of core wire have a significant impact on the result of wire feeding.

6. The treatment package shall have a proper height and diameter ratio.It is better to make the height of the molten steel 1.1-1.2 times the effective diameter of the ladle.
